A look into an incredibly uplifting and rejuvenating month at Aliya

Rosh Hashanah

Rosh Hashanah saw 35 guys & girls join us for the first day of Yom Tov where we heard the powerful sound of the Shofar, enjoyed beautiful Chazzanus from Reuvi Havin & Rabbi Menny, and had a delicious Kiddush after Davening.
The second day of Rosh Hashanah was very similar with an amazing atmosphere of approx. 35 people coming together to connect with each other and The One Above.

Yom Kippur

Yom Kippur was very uplifting. As we sang the Kol Nidrei Prayer, we were filled with gratitude to G-D for letting us be together in Shul after a 2 year absence.
Approx. 40+ people joined us over the course of the night & day Tefillos. The atmosphere throughout was remarkably special as we all felt elated by the holiness of the day, which was climaxed by the declaring of "Shma Yisrael" and the joyous dancing that followed during the Niggun 'Napoleon's march'.

Sukkot

The Sukkah Boys kindly donated our Sukkah and 8 Aliya guys came together to build it right outside of Aliya HQ. (See photos below)
The first day of Yom Tov saw approx. 30 people join us for a Minyan which was followed by a delicious Kiddush in the Sukkah where we Farbrenged until late into the afternoon about the importance of humility & growth.
On Chol HaMoed, the Ruschinek family kindly hosted their annual Aliya Sukkah BBQ which saw dozens of guys join together for a special night of Farbrenging and bonding over delicious food.The Belfer family kindly hosted a beautiful Sukkah party for Aliya Girls Space. The girls had a wonderful time.

Simchat Torah

Simchas Torah night was one for the ages at Aliya HQ with over 50 people coming to be part of the abounding joy which went until approx. 2 AM.
Simchas Torah day saw a late start but nonetheless a lovely Minyan and Kiddush with dancing & Farbrenging.
A big Mazel Tov to Shmully Ulman and Eli Tuvel for getting the honour of Chassan Torah and Chassan Bereshis respectively and a big thank you to our hosts & sponsors over the last month.
